In-Home Dog Photoshoots

Did you know I can photograph your dog inside your home? If your dog is a puppy, reactive, or in ill health (i.e., cancer, end of life), having me come to your home may yield the best results. An at-home photoshoot may be less stressful for you and your dog!

I have a variety of throws that I can bring to make your furniture even cozier for your dog.

In-home photoshoots work well for aging dogs since they are in a familiar, comfy environment. Remi, the 11-year-old mini schnauzer, had his photoshoot at home to minimize his stress, and make it easy for his owner.

Now, Remi’s person has a beautiful framed portrait of him that she can see every day.

We could rearrange the furniture in your home to create a new look. I moved Leo’s orange chair over to the corner when I noticed how the wall colors looked together. I set up a light, and Leo popped up on his favorite chair. He was much more at ease than if he had been in an unfamiliar studio environment.

Papillon dog doing play bow on velvet olive green couch

Laika played a gentle game of tug with her favorite toy during her photoshoot. When we took the toy away for a minute, she did this charming play bow because she wanted to play more. It’s not all “Sit-Stay” during photoshoots. Ideally, your dog will have fun!

If it’s summer, I’ll even bring flowers from my garden. A bonus for Sedna was that she didn’t have to wear her harness – like she would have if we were outdoors.

Puppy Photoshoots in the Comfort of your Home

In-home photoshoots are ideal for capturing the early days with your new puppy! I’ll make your puppy’s photoshoot easy and relaxed.

Hazel was getting older and didn’t have as much pep as she used to. Instead of heading to a park, we had her photoshoot in her yard, where she was comfortable. Sometimes the best location is the one that’s easiest on your dog.

Every house has something unique – whether it’s a colorful front door or a unique piece of furniture. I will help you spot the areas in your house that will look best in photos so your in-home photoshoot is a success!
