Small Dog Portraits That Show Big Personality
This little Chihuahua rolled into his photoshoot with plenty of spirit. Mobility challenges do not slow down a session, and the results are just as joyful and full of personality.
Sydney is King of the Bungalow! I’ve never met a fluffier Pomeranian with a bigger personality. He lives in Denver’s Washington Park neighborhood, so we wanted to showcase typical Denver architecture.
13-year-old Pekingese Diego posed like a pro at Cheesman Park Pavilion.
I typically photograph small dogs up on something – whether it’s a bench or a pavilion. Little dogs need big drama!

Moka’s photoshoot was in southeast Denver, but it looks like a woodland forest! She’s tiny, so we only needed a small grove of trees to achieve this result.
Sylvester, the French bulldog, sat nicely on the flagstone steps at the Stone House.

There aren’t many breeds smaller than a Chihuahua. Fidel got his name because, in his person’s words, “He was a little dictator when he was a puppy.” He was mellow and sweet by the time I met him.

Do you have a small dog of your own? I’d love to photograph them! Head over to my contact page to get the process started.
